AstralPool ProElyo Touch Heat Pump is a full inverter pool heat pump that transfers heat from the air to the pool water and operates until the outdoor air drops to -20 °C. Çilek Havuz supplies ProElyo Touch through quotes and as part of its projects. The eight models deliver a maximum heating output of 13.5 to 35 kW; at 26 °C air the COP rises to 16. Six models are single-phase, while Pro Elyo Touch 30T and 35T are three-phase.

Users and applications
Offered for residential and residential complex pools that are to be heated all year round. As it also operates when the outdoor air drops to -20 °C, it is used in regions with cold winters. The full inverter compressor lowers its output according to demand; there are three operating modes: Boost, Smart and Ecosilence. At low output, the smallest model drops to a sound pressure of 23 dBA at a distance of 10 m.

Installation and compatible equipment
The heat pump is installed in the open air on anti-vibration mounts, in a place where the air inlet and outlet are not obstructed. It is connected to the pool line after the filter with by-pass valves; the chlorine dosing or salt chlorinator unit stays after the heat pump. The flow rate is between 6 and 13 m³/h depending on the model. The supply cable is run according to the cable section of the model.
- A level, firm base with clear airflow is prepared.
- The anti-vibration mounts are placed and the condensate drain is connected.
- By-pass valves are fitted at the filter outlet and the PVC Ø50 unions are connected.
- The supply line is run according to the cable section; 3 x 2.5 mm² for Pro Elyo Touch 13.
- The flow rate is set, and the operating mode and target temperature are selected.
// 04 · Maintenance
Maintenance checkpoints
Routine work on the heat pump is keeping the evaporator coil clean of leaves and dust. The condensate drain is checked for blockage. The pH and chlorine values of the pool water are kept in balance; the titanium heat exchanger is compatible with salt chlorination systems. When not in use, the unit is covered with the winter cover supplied with the product.

Efficiency falls in cold air: Pro Elyo Touch 25 delivers a maximum of 25.5 kW of heat at 26 °C air and a maximum of 17 kW at 15 °C air. For year-round heating, the model is selected according to the lower output in the cold months.

Heat pump output is selected according to the pool volume, cover use, the regional climate and the months to be heated. On ProElyo Touch, a maximum output from 13.5 kW to 35 kW is offered across eight models. For a pool heated in the cooler months, the output at 15 °C air is checked; this value is 9 kW on the smallest model and 25 kW on the largest.

AstralPool ProElyo Touch operates down to -20 °C and is chosen for year-round heating. AstralPool Eco Elyo Heat Pump operates down to -5 °C, is chosen to extend the season and is offered for pools of up to 120 m³. On ProElyo Touch the app connection is set up with an optional gateway; on Eco Elyo this connection is built in.

COP shows how many kW of heat the heat pump delivers for every 1 kW of electricity it uses. On ProElyo Touch, the COP is between 6 and 16 at 26 °C air and between 4.5 and 8 at 15 °C air. SCOP is the average efficiency over the season and varies between 7.1 and 7.7 depending on the model.

Six models run on 220 - 240 V single-phase, while Pro Elyo Touch 30T and 35T run on 380 - 400 V three-phase. Pro Elyo Touch 35 draws a maximum of 32 A on single-phase; the 35T of the same output draws a maximum of 11.8 A on three-phase. If the residential panel cannot carry the high current, or a three-phase supply is available on site, the T models are chosen.

At a distance of 10 m, ProElyo Touch produces a sound pressure of 23 to 43 dBA depending on the model and operating output. The smallest model drops to 23 dBA at low output. In gardens close to neighbours, the unit is placed so that the fan outlet does not face bedroom windows, and it is installed on anti-vibration mounts.

ProElyo Touch comes with a winter cover, a condensate drain kit, two PVC Ø50 unions, four anti-vibration mounts and a 10 m connection cable. A separate control panel and a gateway for the app connection are optional. The supply cable, a separate fuse at the panel and by-pass valves are provided separately during installation.
