The Wide Mouth Stainless Steel Pool Skimmer is an AISI-316L stainless steel skimmer that collects surface water through a wide mouth and carries it to the filtration line. Çilek Havuz supplies Wide Mouth through quotes and as part of its projects. There are two models with mouth widths of 500 and 650 mm, suited to concrete and liner pools. The recommended flow is 7.5 m³/h and the overflow connection is Ø 50. The weights are 14.84 and 15.84 kg.

Users and applications
The wide mouth stainless steel skimmer collects surface water through a mouth 500 or 650 mm wide. Its body is AISI-316L stainless steel. It is used in concrete and liner pools; the flanges needed for a prefabricated pool are supplied with the product. The recommended flow is 7.5 m³/h. The mouth width is chosen by the dimension of the pool edge.

Installation and compatible equipment
The skimmer is placed in the recess in the pool wall and connected to the line with the Ø 50 overflow connection. The basket and lid are supplied with the body. The body has an earthing connection. There is a seat in the body for fitting the level control valve. Flanges are used in a prefabricated pool; the 500 and 650 mm models carry them in the package.

Maintenance checkpoints
Routine work consists of emptying the leaves and dirt collected in the basket. The earthing connection is checked to make sure it stays sound, and the Ø 50 overflow connection is checked for leaks. If a level control valve is fitted, its seat and connection are also checked. When the water level changes, the level setting is reviewed again.

Material, recommended flow and the Ø 50 overflow connection are the same on both models; the choice is made by the dimension of the pool edge.

The body is AISI-316L stainless steel and has an earthing connection. The mouth width is chosen by the dimension of the pool edge. The same models are used in concrete and liner construction.

The difference lies in water level and construction. In the SLIM high water level skimmer, the waterline comes close to the edge and the level can vary by ±4 cm. The wide mouth model has a wider level range. Both are AISI-316L, have 500 and 650 mm mouths and a recommended flow of 7.5 m³/h.
