The Cartridge Filter Pool Skimmer is a 17.5 litre ABS skimmer that combines a skimmer collecting surface water and a cartridge filter in the same body. Çilek Havuz supplies Cartridge Filter through quotes and as part of its projects. Its four models with two cartridges are listed at 16 and 20 m³/h flow, for concrete pools and for liner and prefabricated pools. The cartridges filter to 15 µm. Connections are Ø 32 top, Ø 63 bottom and Ø 50 side.

Users and applications
The cartridge filter skimmer collects surface water and passes it through the two cartridges in the same body. The cartridges filter to a fineness of 15 µm. The 17.5 litre ABS body is UV-resistant. The model is chosen at 16 or 20 m³/h according to cartridge flow; there are separate models for concrete pools and for liner and prefabricated pools.

Installation and compatible equipment
The body is placed in the recess in the pool wall. The connections are Ø 32 at the top, Ø 63 at the bottom and Ø 50 at the side; the side connections are for suction nozzles. The cover, skimmer basket and two cartridge filters come with the body. The liner and prefabricated models are delivered with two sets of screws.

Maintenance checkpoints
Routine work is emptying the leaves and dirt from the basket and cleaning the cartridges. As the two cartridges filter water to a fineness of 15 µm, they become dirty over time and the flow weakens. A worn or clogged cartridge is replaced with a spare cartridge. Spare cartridges are available separately for the 16 and 20 m³/h models.

- The cartridges are removed and checked for dirt retention.

+90 216 475 39 37The choice is made according to the flow of the pool filtration line. The 16 m³/h model weighs 12 kg, the 20 m³/h model 13 kg. Both have two cartridges, a 17.5 litre ABS body and three connections. Pools that want filtration at a higher flow look at the 20 m³/h model.

Both cartridges filter to a fineness of 15 µm. The cartridges sit inside the skimmer body. A 16 m³/h cartridge is used for the 16 m³/h model, a 20 m³/h cartridge for the 20 m³/h model. Spare cartridges are available under separate codes for these two flows. Two cartridges come together on all models.

The construction of the pool determines the choice. Models with codes 73158 (16 m³/h) and 73161 (20 m³/h) are used for concrete pools. Models with codes 73159 (16 m³/h) and 73162 (20 m³/h) are used for liner and prefabricated pools. These two liner models are delivered with two sets of screws.

The difference is the cartridge filter. Both have a 17.5 litre ABS body. The filter model has two cartridges, 16 or 20 m³/h flow and three connections; it weighs 12 and 13 kg. The Norm 17.5 L has no cartridge; its recommended flow is 7.5 m³/h and its weight 5.61 kg.

It has a Ø 32 connection at the top, Ø 63 at the bottom and Ø 50 at the side. The side connections are for suction nozzles. The connection diameters are the same on both the 16 and 20 m³/h models. The bottom connection size is compared with the line diameter before installation; if the size does not match, a transition is made on the line side.

Yes, it can be changed with EASYCOLOR coloured covers. This accessory is fitted without changing the skimmer mouth. The body is white UV-resistant ABS. The coloured cover is a separate accessory sold under its own code; it does not change the cartridge flow, connections or weight. The colour is chosen to match the pool lining. The cover is changed without touching the body that holds the cartridges.

Yes. Two cartridges come with the skimmer; 15 µm spare cartridges for 16 m³/h and 20 m³/h are sold under separate codes. The spare cartridge is chosen to suit the flow of the skimmer. In this way, a clogged or worn cartridge is renewed without replacing the skimmer body, and filtration continues.
