The SLIM High Water Level Stainless Skimmer is a skimmer made entirely of AISI-316L stainless steel that brings the waterline close to the pool edge. Çilek Havuz supplies SLIM through quotes and as part of its projects. There are two models with 500 and 650 mm suction mouths. The water level can vary by ±4 cm. The recommended flow rate is 7.5 m³/h and the basket holds 1.2 litres. The bottom connection is a 2 inch BSP female thread and the overflow is Ø 50.

Users and applications
SLIM is a high-level skimmer used in concrete pools where the water is to be brought close to the top of the pool. The waterline sits very close to the edge and the level can vary by ±4 cm. The entire body is AISI-316L; the suction mouth is 500 or 650 mm. For prefabricated pools, flanges are supplied with the product.

Installation and compatible equipment
The SLIM body is placed in the recess in the concrete pool wall. The bottom connection is a 2 inch BSP female thread and the overflow connection is Ø 50. The body has a separate compartment for a level regulator; the regulator is not included and is bought separately. In a prefabricated pool, the flanges supplied with the product are used.

Maintenance checkpoints
The routine task is emptying the leaves and dirt that collect in the 1.2 litre basket. The body is made entirely of AISI-316L stainless steel. If a level regulator is fitted, its compartment and connections are checked, and the bottom connection and overflow line are also checked for leaks. When the water level changes, the ±4 cm range is reviewed.

This range keeps the appearance of water close to the edge while leaving room for level changes. To keep the level constant, a level regulator is fitted in the compartment in the body; the regulator is not included.

The difference is in mouth width, overall width and weight. The 500 mm model, code 73501, has a 500 mm suction mouth, an overall width of 560 mm and a weight of 14.8 kg. The 650 mm model, code 73502, has a 650 mm mouth, a width of 710 mm and a weight of 15.2 kg. The height of 344 mm and the flow rate of 7.5 m³/h are the same.

If the waterline should be close to the edge, SLIM is chosen. On SLIM the level can vary by ±4 cm and the body has a regulator compartment. The Wide Mouth Stainless Pool Skimmer suits concrete and liner pools and works with a wider level range. Both are AISI-316L with 500-650 mm mouths.

It is not included. The body has a separate compartment for the regulator, and the regulator is ordered separately. As the compartment is ready, the regulator can be fitted without changing the body. The basket capacity is 1.2 litres and the Ø 50 overflow connection is on the body; the flanges are for prefabricated pools. The regulator compartment is present on both mouth widths.

It is made for concrete pools. If it is to be used in a prefabricated pool, the necessary flanges come with the product. As it brings the waterline close to the top of the pool, the edge height and water level are planned together before installation. If the pool construction is not yet known, product compatibility is confirmed before ordering.

If the diameter of the suction line does not match this size, an adaptor is fitted on the line side; the overflow line is installed separately.
