Pool, sauna and spa guides
We put into writing what the Çilek Havuz project team learns on site from survey to handover: decisions on dimensions, materials, maintenance and cost, topic by topic.

Spa & WellnessGarden hot tub prices are the total of shell material, jet and pump group, heater power, cabinet insulation, concrete slab and electrical line items.
Pool ConstructionIn Izmir, a pool is designed together with 2,938 hours of sunshine a year, 48 percent summer humidity, evaporation, Gediz alluvium and earthquake load.
Pool ConstructionIn Bursa, a pool is designed around a record low of -20.5 °C, 13 snow days a year, hillside excavation at the foot of Uludağ and the groundwater of the Nilüfer plain.
Pool ConstructionIn Antalya, a pool is built with overflow, cooling and a ground investigation sized for 262 mm of rain in December, 46.1 °C in July and karst ground.
Pool ConstructionShotcrete or double-sided formwork for the shell, C30/37 concrete, a water/cement ratio below 0.45 and the waterproofing details of a concrete pool.
Pool ConstructionPool construction starts with a site survey and a ground investigation; each of the 12 steps through design, excavation, shell, pipework, waterproofing, finish and handover closes with a checkpoint.
MaintenancePool maintenance for beginners: testing and correcting pH, alkalinity, chlorine, hardness and cyanuric acid in the right order, plus a weekly filter and water level routine.
Pool ConstructionPool building in Algeria means planning for 685 mm of winter rain, a record 48.7 °C, seismic rules after the 2003 Boumerdès quake and imported equipment.
Pool ConstructionIn a turnkey pool, design, procurement, construction and commissioning go to one contractor under one contract; the scope schedule draws the line.

+90 216 475 39 37The duration depends on the type and size of the pool. Prefab (panel) systems can be installed within days once the site is prepared, while a turnkey concrete pool takes longer from excavation to commissioning. Soil survey, permits and weather affect the schedule. Share your dimensions and we will map out a clear delivery timeline.

A concrete pool offers full freedom in size, form and depth plus the longest life, and is ideal for custom designs. A prefab pool installs faster thanks to factory production and has a predictable cost. The right choice depends on your garden, budget and how much design freedom you expect. In a free survey we compare both options with their reasoning.

Regular care has three parts: water balance (pH and chlorine checks), filtration (pump and filter cleaning) and surface/floor cleaning. With heavy use, weekly checks plus a thorough service at season opening and closing are recommended. Automatic dosing and control systems reduce this workload to a minimum. Tell us where your pool is and we will prepare a maintenance plan.

The most common causes are an upset pH balance, insufficient filtration and disinfection, and excess organic load. The fix: bring pH into the 7.2-7.6 range, clean the filter and run it long enough, and apply shock chlorination with a clarifier (flocculant) when needed. If it keeps recurring, the circulation design should be reviewed; our technical team diagnoses the cause on site.

A sauna gives thermal comfort with dry, high heat; a steam room eases breathing with high humidity and warm steam. A Turkish hammam is a traditional ritual with its heated marble and göbektaşı; a salt room supports respiratory and skin health with salt walls. Which suits you depends on purpose, space and comfort expectations. We can build them standalone or as one integrated spa.

Regular sauna use speeds circulation, helps muscles relax and can improve sleep by reducing stress. These effects vary from person to person and are not medical advice; if you have a health condition, consult your doctor before adding sauna to your routine. We can determine the right sauna type and capacity for your home or facility together.

An infinity pool is a premium system where the waterline merges with the view, overflowing along one or more edges. Cost is shaped by the overflow channel and balance-tank engineering, size and depth, finish material and mechanical equipment. It is most striking on sloped sites with a view. Share photos of your land and we will draft a feasible concept.

Yes. A pool heat pump transfers heat from the air into the water and runs at a far lower cost than electric or fuel heaters; correctly sized, it extends the season noticeably. Efficiency depends on climate, pool volume and cover use. Send your pool dimensions and we will size the system and estimate the savings.

Yes. With proper waterproofing, heating infrastructure and ventilation, a hammam scaled to the space can be built in villas, apartments and wellness areas. We carry the traditional experience into a modern space with a heated göbektaşı, kurna basins and marble detailing. Tell us the area you can spare and we will prepare a bespoke layout.

Winterising aims to protect the water and equipment from frost and fouling. The level is lowered below the skimmer, balancing chemicals are applied, pipes are drained or protected with antifreeze, and the pool is covered. Done properly, it speeds up the season opening and lowers cost. If you prefer, we can handle winter care for you.
