The MD Series Multiparameter Photometer is a group of IP68-protected portable photometers used for water analysis in public pools. Çilek Havuz supplies MD Series through quotes and as part of its projects. It is offered as the MD100 with 2, 3, 5 and 6 parameters, the MD110 with 3, 4 and 6 parameters and Bluetooth, and the MD200 with 3, 5 and 6 parameters. The housing withstands water at a depth of 0.1 m for 1 hour.

Users and applications
The MD Series is chosen by operators of public pools who want a pocket-sized photometer. The model is determined by the number of parameters to be measured: the MD100 measures 2 to 6, the MD110 3, 4 and 6, and the MD200 3, 5 and 6 parameters. For those who want to transfer data from the instrument to a phone, the MD110 uses Bluetooth.

Installation and compatible equipment
The MD Series needs no installation. Use starts with a suitable reagent: for the MD100, MD110 and MD200, tablets from the Analysis Tablets & Photometer Reagents group are used, and separate DPD Nº1 and DPD Nº3 boxes are available for the MD-100 and MD-200. The instrument has a calibration indicator, auto power-off and a real-time clock and date.
- The MD100, MD110 or MD200 model is chosen according to the number of parameters.
- The reagent tablet suited to the parameter to be measured is prepared.
- The measurement is taken and the result is read on the display.
- On MD110 models, data is transferred via Bluetooth.
// 04 · Maintenance
Maintenance checkpoints
Maintenance of the instrument depends on the calibration indicator and the reagent stock. The calibration indicator shows when the setting needs to be renewed. The display is backlit and the instrument switches off automatically. Reagents are consumables; DPD Nº1 and DPD Nº3 boxes for the MD-100 and MD-200 are bought separately and each contains 100 units.
- The calibration indicator is monitored.
- Previous readings are reviewed on the display.
- Reagent boxes are replenished on the basis of packs of 100.
- The zero value is stored in memory with OTZ.

The MD200 measures chlorine at 0.05-6.0 mg/l, pH at 6.5-8.4 and cyanuric acid at 0-80 mg/l. The 5 and 6 parameter models add alkalinity at 5-200 mg/l and calcium hardness at 50-500 mg/l; the 6 parameter model reads bromine at 0.05-13 mg/l. The models are sold under codes from 52629 to 55152.

DPD, Phenol and other tablets in the Analysis Tablets & Photometer Reagents group are compatible with the MD100, MD110 and MD200. Separate DPD Nº1 and DPD Nº3 boxes are available for the MD-100 and MD-200, each containing 100 units. The general reagent boxes contain 250 units.

The MD Series is for public pools, has an IP68 housing and is offered in models with 2 to 6 parameters. The Scuba3s is for residential pools and spas, transfers data to Pool-App via NFC and stores 100 data sets. MD110 models use Bluetooth; the Scuba3s uses NFC instead of Bluetooth.

The instruments have a calibration indicator, backlit display and auto power-off. They also offer a real-time clock and date, display of previous readings and storage of the zero value in memory. Storing the zero value in memory is referred to as OTZ. These features are common to the MD100, MD110 and MD200 housings.

The difference lies in the Bluetooth connection. The MD110 6P uses Bluetooth; the MD100 6P has no Bluetooth connection. Both have 6 parameters and an IP68 housing designed for public pools. Detailed measuring ranges, including bromine, are given for the MD200 6P, where bromine is 0.05-13 mg/l.
