The SD Series Digital Meter is a portable tester that measures the pH, ORP or salt value of pool water together with temperature. Çilek Havuz supplies SD Series through quotes and as part of its projects. It has three models: SD 50 pH, SD 60 ORP and SD 90 Salt. The instruments are IP67 protected, run on 2 AAA batteries and permanently store 25 data sets.

Users and applications
The SD Series is chosen by users who want to measure pool water on the spot. The model is determined by the value to be measured: SD 50 for pH, SD 60 for redox potential and SD 90 for salt. Each model also shows temperature. The instrument keeps 25 measurement results in its memory, and temperature can be set to °C or °F.

// 03 · Installation and compatibility
Installation and compatible equipment
The SD Series needs no fixed installation. Use starts by inserting 2 AAA batteries. The model is calibrated before measurement: 1, 2 or 3-point automatic calibration for the SD 50 pH, single-point ± 150 mV calibration for the SD 60 ORP, and two-point manual calibration for the SD 90 Salt.
- 2 AAA batteries are inserted into the instrument.
- The calibration procedure suited to the model is selected.
- The temperature unit is set to °C or °F.
- The measurement is taken and the result is saved to one of the 25 data sets in memory.

Maintenance checkpoints
Measurement accuracy depends on calibration; the instrument is set according to the calibration procedure of the model. Battery life is over 25 hours. The SD 50 pH and SD 90 Salt switch off automatically after 8 minutes, the SD 60 ORP after 20 minutes. The housing is IP67 protected; after the battery compartment has been opened, the cover is checked for a proper seat.
- Calibration is carried out according to the number of points the model supports.
- Battery level is monitored against the 25-hour operating life.
- IP67 protection is maintained once the battery compartment cover is closed.
- The 25 stored data sets are noted down for later use when needed.

The measuring ranges differ: 0-14 pH for the SD 50, and salt values below 20.00 ppt for the SD 90. The model is chosen according to the value to be measured.

The SD Series consists of the SD 50, SD 60 and SD 90 models and runs on 2 AAA batteries. The SD Series 2025 includes the SD10, SD20, SD30 and SD40 models, uses 4 AAA batteries and has a 3-colour display. Conductivity measurement is available only in the 2025 series.

Accuracy is ± 0.05 pH and resolution 0.01 pH. The measuring range is 0-14 pH. Temperature is compensated automatically and shown with 0.1 °C resolution. Calibration can be set to 1, 2 or 3-point automatic; the instrument switches off automatically after 8 minutes and readings are saved to 25 data sets.

Salt values below 20.00 ppt are measured with the SD 90 Salt. It reads with 1 ppm resolution below 2000 ppm and 0.01 ppt resolution between 2.0 and 20.00 ppt. Its accuracy is ± 3% FS. Calibration is two-point manual or within ± 50% of the specified value.

It is calibrated with single-point ± 150 mV calibration or by entering the ORP value. Its accuracy is ± 20 mV. It reads with 0.01 mV resolution up to ± 1000 mV and 1 mV above this value. The measuring range is given together with temperature at 0-60 °C, and the instrument switches off automatically after 20 minutes.
