The Jet Stream Pool Counter-Current Pump is a jet pump that feeds water to the counter-current nozzle and allows swimming in place in the pool. Çilek Havuz supplies Jet Stream through quotes and as part of its projects. Its seven models range from 1.5 to 4 kW motor power, with 230 V single-phase and 400 V three-phase options. Five models have an AISI-316 stainless steel body and two a plastic body. Weights are between 21 and 32.6 kg.

Users and applications
The Jet Stream pump creates a current for swimming in place by feeding water to the counter-current nozzle on the pool wall. It is chosen for counter-current systems that need a high flow rate. On the stainless steel models, all parts in contact with water are AISI-316. Power ranges from 2 HP to 5.5 HP: the models in the stainless steel series deliver 1.5, 2.2, 3.3 and 4 kW.

Installation and compatible equipment
The Jet Stream pump is connected to the counter-current nozzle by a hydraulic line and set on a firm floor. Single-phase models are supplied from a 230 V line and three-phase models from a 400 V line. The pumps are managed with an electro-pneumatic control box operated by the buttons on the nozzle front plate. The box is chosen separately according to the pump's power and phase.

Maintenance checkpoints
On the stainless steel models, the parts in contact with water are AISI-316, so corrosion resistance is high. Over the service life, the hydraulic connections, the motor noise and the flow from the nozzle are monitored. If the flow weakens, the suction line and nozzle are checked. The electrical connection and the control box are also on the checklist.

The plastic body series has 1.5 and 2.6 kW models. For systems that need a higher flow rate, a more powerful model is considered.

The electrical line decides. The 2 HP and 3 HP single-phase models run on 230 V. The 3 HP, 4.5 HP and 5.5 HP three-phase models require 400 V. In the plastic body series, the 2 HP model connects to a 230 V single-phase line and the 3.5 HP model to a 400 V three-phase line.

Jet Stream is a pump only, while Marlin is a kit. With Marlin, the nozzle, the housing or wall passage, the control box and the pump come together. With Jet Stream, the nozzle and control are chosen separately; it offers a wider choice of power in the 1.5-4 kW range. Those who want a ready package look at Marlin.

The pump, nozzle and hydraulic line are therefore planned together. Those who want the nozzle supplied ready with the pump consider the Marlin Counter-Current Swim System, which comes as a kit.
