Pool Pump Models, definition and selection criteria
A pool pump is the circulation equipment that draws pool water and sends it to the filter and the return line; this category covers pre-filter pool pumps, variable speed pool pumps, centrifugal pumps for large facilities and counter-current pumps. On pre-filter models the strainer basket that catches hair and leaves sits on top of the pump body; Victoria Plus Silent, Verdon ES, Sena, FloPro and E30iQ belong to this group. The Colorado, Aral Plus, Kivu and Maxim series are centrifugal pumps; Kivu and Maxim come with a strainer basket.

Choosing the pump flow rate
The Sena family starts at 3.5 m³/h, Verdon ES at 7 m³/h, and Victoria Plus Silent covers 11 to 35 m³/h. The flow rate is first estimated by dividing the pool volume by the turnover time, and a model is chosen that does not exceed the flow the filter allows.

Pumps with adjustable speed
Victoria Plus Silent VS (1400, 2100 and 2750 rpm), Verdon VS (50, 75 and 100% steps), FloPro VS (600-3450 rpm, 8 programmable speeds) and E30iQ (ECO 50%, CLEAN 75%, BOOST 100%) are the variable speed families. The other pumps in the list run at a fixed speed.

Pump connection diameter
Victoria Plus Silent and Verdon ES models have D50, D63 or D75 connections. Sena has D50, while FloPro and E30iQ have a 2 inch threaded inlet for DN50 and DN63. The Colorado series comes with Ø90 and Ø110 connections. A model is not chosen until the existing pipe diameter is known.

The Jet Stream pump offers 1.5, 2.2, 2.6, 3.3 and 4 kW (P2) options across 7 models; the body is AISI-316 or plastic. Marlin kits come as 2.2 kW (230 V and 400 V) and 3.3 kW (400 V), with the pump included.

+90 216 475 39 37A variable speed pool pump is a pump whose speed can be set by a program. There are four families on the site: Victoria Plus Silent VS, Verdon VS, FloPro VS and E30iQ. FloPro VS runs in the 600-3450 rpm range and offers 8 programmable speeds; E30iQ defines 3 speeds: ECO 50%, CLEAN 75% and BOOST 100%. Single speed pumps do not have this setting.

The flow rate is first estimated from the ratio of pool volume to the required turnover time and must not exceed the flow the filter allows. For example, a 60 m³ pool with a 6 hour turnover needs 10 m³/h; the Verdon ES 10.5 m³/h model (D50) is close to this value. The final choice is made with the pipework and filter details, and we confirm it together at the quotation stage.

The choice depends on your electrical supply. The Verdon ES, Victoria Plus Silent and Sena families include single-phase 230 V and three-phase 230/400 V models; the FloPro Single Speed family also has both phases. FloPro VS is 220-240 V single-phase. The Colorado, Aral Plus, Kivu and Maxim series run on a three-phase supply. If the supply voltage is not known, the electrical design is checked before a model is chosen.

The inlet and outlet diameter of the pump must match the pipework diameter of the pool. In the Victoria Plus Silent family, the 11 and 16 m³/h models have D50 connections, the 21.5 and 26 m³/h models D63, and the 35 m³/h model D75. The Colorado series uses Ø90 and Ø110, while FloPro and E30iQ models use 2 inch threaded DN50 and DN63 connections.

There are three product groups. The Jet Stream counter-current pump comes in 7 models between 1.5 and 4 kW. The Marlin counter-current swim system is supplied as a kit in 30 II, 30 III and 45 III versions: the 30 models include a nozzle front plate, plastic housing, control box and pump, and the 45 III model includes a nozzle, concrete wall passage, control panel and pump. The Complete Pool Counter-Current Swim System is a separate single model.

The FloPro VS pump can be managed from the iAquaLink app (Android and Apple) with the iQPUMP Wi-Fi Module. The module uses 802.11b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi, works up to 150 m in an unobstructed open area and is powered from the pump through an RS485 cable. The module is compatible with all FloPro VS models and FloPro VS AUT; AUT has no display and runs connected to an automation system.
