Blower Air Blower, Spa Air Blower.

The Air Blower is an aluminium-bodied blower that supplies a continuous air flow to spa and hydromassage systems. Çilek Havuz supplies Air Blower through quotes and as part of its projects. Its fourteen models range from 0.4 to 5.5 kW in motor power, 80 to 530 m³/h in flow rate and 130 to 600 mbar in pressure. Single-phase and three-phase versions are available. All models have an IP54 protection rating. The filter, silencer and safety valve are chosen separately as accessories.

Users and applications

The blower is used to supply a continuous air flow to the water in spa and hydromassage applications. It also serves for aerating the sand bed of filters and in backwash operations that need air at low intensity. The model is chosen by the required air flow and the pressure of the line: the 0.4 kW model delivers 80 m³/h of air, and the 5.5 kW models 530 and 320 m³/h.

Installation and compatible equipment

The blower is connected to the hydromassage air line and can be mounted in a vertical or horizontal position. The supply is taken from a line that matches the phase and voltage of the model. Filter, silencer and safety valve sizes that match the line diameter are chosen. It is not operated in an environment containing flammable or explosive gases; the operating temperature must not exceed 40 °C.

// 04 · Maintenance

Maintenance checkpoints

As the moving parts of the blower do not touch each other, no lubrication is needed and the parts are not subject to wear. Over its service life, the connections, motor noise and air flow are monitored. If a filter is fitted, the air inlet is kept clean. The motor, suitable for continuous duty, is operated so that the 40 °C operating temperature is not exceeded.

The model is chosen by the required air flow and the pressure of the line. The 0.4 kW model delivers 80 m³/h and 130 mbar. The 2.2 kW model delivers 318 m³/h and 230 mbar, and the 5.5 kW model 530 m³/h and 320 mbar. Where a higher pressure is needed, the 4.3 kW 2V model offers 600 mbar.

The choice is set by the electrical supply of the building. Single-phase 200-240 V versions are available on the 0.85, 1.3 and 1.5 kW models. All other models are three-phase. The 0.85 and 1.3 kW models have both single-phase and three-phase versions. The 4.3 and 5.5 kW models connect to a 345-415 V three-phase line.

The blower produces air, while the Jet Stream pump pumps water. The blower supplies an air flow to spa and hydromassage systems. The Jet Stream Counter-Current Pool Pump sends water to the counter-current nozzle and creates a current for swimming in place. The two are not interchangeable; a blower is chosen where air is needed, and the pump where a current is needed.

The 2V model delivers less flow and higher pressure at the same power. The 1.6 kW model produces 210 m³/h and 220 mbar. The 1.6 kW 2V model produces 150 m³/h and 300 mbar. Both are three-phase; they weigh 23 and 25 kg. If pressure is the priority, the 2V model is chosen.

The blower filter is available with 1, 1¼, 1½, 2 and 2½ inch connections. The silencer comes in 1¼, 1½, 2 and 2½ inch sizes; its steel body contains polyurethane sound absorption. The safety valve is sold in 1¼ and 2½ inch sizes. The accessory is chosen by the connection diameter of the air line.

It does not need lubrication. As the moving parts do not touch each other, no lubrication is needed and the parts are not subject to wear. The fan is fitted directly to the stainless steel motor shaft, and the motor is suitable for continuous duty. Leaks at the connections and changes in motor noise are still monitored; the operating temperature should be no more than 40 °C.
