Verdon ES is a self-priming, single speed pool pump with a pre-filter, connected to the pool's filtration line. Çilek Havuz supplies Verdon ES through quotes and as part of its projects. Its six model groups range from 7.0-31 m³/h nominal flow and 0.38-2.24 kW motor power. Connections vary between D50, D63 and D75; the connection unions are supplied with the pump. From the 100 model upwards, single-phase M and three-phase T versions are available.

Users and applications
Verdon ES is a circulation pump that draws water from the pool and pushes it to the filter. It is chosen from six model groups: the 50M delivers 7.0 m³/h and the 300 models 31 m³/h nominal flow. The 50M, 75M and 100 models with D50 connections are used on lower-flow lines, and the models with D63 and D75 connections on higher-flow lines. The pre-filter housing is supplied with the pump.

Installation and compatible equipment
Verdon ES is fitted between the suction line coming from the pool and the filter; the connection unions are supplied with the pump. As it is self-priming, the housing is filled with water before the first start. M models are connected to a 230 V single-phase line, T models to a 230-400 V three-phase line. The supply can be taken through the Electrical Control Panel. The discharge outlet goes to the Multiport Valve inlet of a filter such as the Cantabric Pool Sand Filter.
- The pump is placed on a level, dry surface next to the filter.
- The unions are fitted to the suction and discharge connections; the discharge goes to the Multiport Valve inlet of the filter.
- The housing is filled with water through the transparent lid and the lid is closed.
- The supply is taken through the Electrical Control Panel or through motor protection suited to the phase.
// 04 · Maintenance
Maintenance checkpoints
Routine work consists of removing leaves and debris collected in the large pre-filter housing while the pump is switched off. As the lid is transparent, the level of the basket can be seen without dismantling the pump. After cleaning, the lid is seated back in place. If there is a noticeable change in the operating sound, the suction line and the housing are checked.
- The strainer basket is removed and cleaned while the pump is switched off.
- The suction line is checked for air leaks.
- The union connections are checked for leaks.

The 50M delivers 7.0 m³/h, the 75M 10.5 m³/h, the 100 models 15.5 m³/h, the 150 models 20.5 m³/h, the 200 models 25 m³/h and the 300 models 31 m³/h nominal flow. The required flow is found by dividing the pool volume by the turnover time.

The choice is set by the building's electrical supply. The 50M and 75M come only as 230 V single-phase. The 100, 150, 200 and 300 models are available in both a single-phase M and a three-phase T version; T versions are connected to a 230-400 V line. M and T models with the same number have the same nominal flow and motor power.

Verdon ES starts at 7.0 m³/h with the 50M model and so covers lower-flow lines; the largest 300 model delivers 31 m³/h. Victoria Plus Silent starts at 11 m³/h and goes up to 35 m³/h. On Verdon ES the connection unions are supplied with the pump; Victoria Plus Silent has a two-handle, tool-free lid.

Verdon ES offers a wider flow and connection range than Sena. All Sena models have D50 connections and deliver 3.5-16 m³/h. Verdon ES delivers 7.0-31 m³/h; the 150 and 200 models have D63 and the 300 models D75 connections. Sena is chosen for a small D50 line, Verdon ES for higher flow.

The connection diameter depends on the model. The 50M, 75M and 100 models have D50, the 150 and 200 models D63 and the 300 models D75 connections. The connection unions are shipped with the pump. If the diameter of the existing pipework is known, the choice is first narrowed by this diameter and then by flow.

Motor power is 0.38 kW on the 50M and 2.24 kW on the 300 models. The maximum power drawn from the mains reaches 0.56 kW on the 50M, 0.96 kW on the 100 model, 1.85 kW on the 200 model and 2.56 kW on the 300M. On the three-phase 150 and 300 versions this value is slightly lower. Daily consumption depends on the operating hours.

The transparent lid shows how full the strainer basket is without dismantling the pump. When leaves and coarse debris collect in the basket, this can be seen from outside. Cleaning is done with the pump switched off: the lid is opened, the basket is removed, emptied and put back. After the basket is cleaned, the housing is refilled with water and the pump is started.
