AstralPool Dossi Chlorinator is an in-line tablet feeder that dissolves chlorine or bromine tablets with the water passing through the filter return line. Çilek Havuz supplies Dossi through quotes and as part of its projects. The body is ABS, the connections are 1 1/2 inch and the body diameter is 200 mm. Dossi-5 In-Line is recommended for pools of up to 45 m³ and Dossi-10 In-Line for pools of up to 80 m³. The dose is set with the regulating valve.

Users and applications
Dossi is chosen for pools where chlorine or bromine is to be delivered continuously through the filter line rather than adding tablets by hand. The tablets dissolve in a separate body and the dose is set with the regulating valve. The model is chosen by pool volume. The recommended volumes are given for bromine use. The body comes with a manual drain and an automatic Venturi pressure release.

Installation and compatible equipment
Dossi is fitted on the return line after the filter with a 1 1/2 inch connection. If there is a heater or heat pump, the chlorinator is placed after it. The regulating valve determines how much of the water passing through the line flows over the tablets. The lid is opened with the opening key supplied, and the tablets are filled into the body.

Maintenance checkpoints
Before the lid is opened, the filter pump is stopped and the pressure in the body is released. The tablet level is checked regularly and the body is refilled before it runs empty. Chlorine and bromine tablets are not put in the same body together. If the tablet type is to change, the body is emptied and washed with clean water. The lid gasket is cleaned at every opening and replaced if cracked.

The AstralPool Floating Dispenser moves freely on the pool surface and needs no pipework. Dossi is chosen for permanent, adjustable tablet dosing, the floating dispenser for simple dosing without installation.

Chlorine tablets are not thrown directly into the pool; they are delivered through a slow-dissolving container. In an in-line chlorinator such as Dossi, the tablets dissolve in the filter return line and the dose is set with a valve. For a simpler set-up, the AstralPool Floating Dispenser is used. Both methods prevent tablets from sinking to the floor and staining the lining.

Before the lid is opened, the filter pump is stopped and the pressure in the body is released with the manual drain. The lid is loosened slowly with the opening key. The chlorine odour coming from the body is not inhaled; the lid is opened in a well-ventilated plant room. Gloves are worn when filling tablets. The lid gasket is cleaned before closing.

The body diameter is 200 mm, and this diameter is the same on both models. The line connection is 1 1/2 inch. The unit is an in-line type, meaning it is connected within the pipework line. The body is ABS. When space is allocated in the plant room, the connecting pipes are taken into account as well as the body diameter.
