AstralPool Easy Salt, Salt Chlorination System.
AstralPool Easy Salt is a salt electrolysis system that produces chlorine from salt water in public pools. Çilek Havuz supplies Easy Salt through quotes and as part of its projects. The four models produce 50, 70, 90 and 180 g/h of chlorine. Each model is available as a standard version or as the EXT-1 version with pH/ORP regulation. The recommended salt concentration is 5-6 g/l and electrode life is 10,000-12,000 hours.

Users and applications
AstralPool Easy Salt is chosen by hotels, residential complexes, sports facilities and municipal pools that want to stop storing liquid chlorine. The model is selected from 50, 70, 90 or 180 g/h according to the hourly chlorine demand of the pool. In large pools where one unit is not enough, several units run together under shared control.

Installation and compatible equipment
The electrolysis cell is connected with flanges to the return line after the filter, and the control panel is mounted on the wall near the cell. If several Easy Salt units are to run in one pool, shared control is installed. This requires the AstralPool AP PR-200 Series or AstralPool Control Connect with the TRI kit. A pH dosing pump is not included with the unit and is installed separately.

Maintenance checkpoints
Electrode life is 10,000-12,000 hours; when it ends, only the electrode is replaced, using the salt electrolysis replacement electrode. Salt is topped up before the concentration falls below 5 g/l. On the EXT-1 version, the pH and ORP sensors are calibrated regularly. The cell plates are checked visually for scale build-up. At winter shutdown, the salt concentration is measured and the cell is kept dry.

Chlorine consumption rises in indoor, busy and warm pools, and in these facilities the next model up is chosen. The final selection is made on pool volume, number of visitors and turnover time.

Yes, several Easy Salt units run together in large pools. The units are managed from a single measuring point. Shared control requires the AstralPool AP PR-200 Series or AstralPool Control Connect with the TRI multi-unit control kit. The TRI kit provides simultaneous control of up to 3 units.

The EXT-1 version measures the pH and ORP of the water and manages chlorine output according to ORP. The measuring range is 0.0-9.9 pH and 0-999 mV, and the accuracy is 0.1 pH and 1 mV. The control range is set at pH 7.0-7.8 and 650-850 mV. The standard version does not include this measurement.

Easy Salt operates in a salt range of 5-12 g/l, and the recommended concentration is 5-6 g/l. The amount of salt needed is found by multiplying the pool volume by the target concentration. The salt is added before the unit is started and fully dissolved in the water. The concentration is measured regularly through the season and topped up as it falls.

Easy Salt produces 50, 70, 90 and 180 g/h; Easy Salt Next VC produces 75, 100, 150 and 190 g/h. Next VC has a polypropylene cell body that withstands high pressure and an LED display. Both series have a salt range of 5-12 g/l and an electrode life of 10,000-12,000 hours. Both are also offered in the EXT-1 pH/ORP version.

Yes, pH tends to rise with salt electrolysis, and correction is made with a separate dosing pump. A pH dosing pump is not included with Easy Salt. The EXT-1 version measures pH and controls the pump for pH regulation. A dosing pump such as AstralPool Acqua Dos is connected as the pump.

Weight varies by model: 30 kg for Easy Salt 50, 70 kg for Easy Salt 70, 80 kg for Easy Salt 90 and 90 kg for Easy Salt 180. The weight is the same on the EXT-1 pH/ORP versions. Electrode life is 10,000-12,000 hours. The weight of the model is taken into account when planning space and handling in the plant room.
