AstralPool Pro-Chlore Salt, Salt Chlorinator.
AstralPool Pro-Chlore Salt is a salt electrolysis system with EX electrodes that produces chlorine from salt in large public pools. Çilek Havuz supplies Pro-Chlore Salt through quotes and as part of its projects. Six models produce 50 to 600 g/h of chlorine. A-50EX, A-80EX and A-120EX are supplied at 230 V, the larger models at 380 V. With the Standard, EXT-1 and EXT-2 versions there are 18 options.

Users and applications
AstralPool Pro-Chlore Salt is chosen for large public pools with a high chlorine demand. Large hotel, municipal and sports facility pools fall into this group. The series goes up to a capacity of 600 g/h, and electrode life is 12,000-15,000 hours. Alongside the chlorine demand, the electrical infrastructure of the facility and the circulation flow rate also determine the selection.

// 03 · Installation and compatibility
Installation and compatible equipment
Installation is planned using the electrical and hydraulic data. A-50EX, A-80EX and A-120EX are supplied at 230 V, A-180EX, A-300EX and A-600EX at 380 V. The cell is connected to the return line after the filter, and the flow rate in the line must not fall below the minimum flow rate of the model. The DC cable between the panel and the cell is run with the output cable section of the model.
- The supply line is prepared according to the voltage and fuse of the model.
- The cell is fitted to the return line with a connection that suits the pipe diameter.
- The flow rate in the line is compared with the minimum flow rate of the model.
- The panel is mounted on the wall and the DC cable is run according to the output section.
- The EXT-1 or EXT-2 sensors are placed at the measuring point.

Maintenance checkpoints
EX electrodes have a life of 12,000-15,000 hours; when this is reached, the electrode is replaced with a Salt Electrolysis Spare Electrode. On fan-cooled models, the fan and air inlets are kept free of dust. The salt concentration is kept within 5-6 g/l. The DC cable connections are checked periodically for overheating and oxidation.
- The fan and ventilation grilles are cleaned.
- The DC cable ends are checked for tightness and oxidation.
- The cell plates are checked visually for scale build-up.
- The EXT-1 or EXT-2 sensors are calibrated regularly.

+90 216 475 39 37The A-50EX, A-80EX and A-120EX models run on 230 V. The A-180EX, A-300EX and A-600EX models require 380 V; the frequency is 50-60 Hz. The current ranges from 1.6 A to 8.2 A depending on the model. The input cable section is between 3 x 1.0 mm² and 5 x 4 mm², selected according to the model.

The flow through the cell must be at least 9, 14, 20, 30, 50 and 90 m³/h depending on the model. This order runs from A-50EX to A-600EX. The pump and filter line are sized to meet this flow rate. If the line flow rate is insufficient, a smaller model or a hydraulic adjustment is needed.

A-50EX is fitted with a 1 ½ inch female thread connection. A-80EX and A-120EX connect with a D63 mm flange, and A-180EX, A-300EX and A-600EX with a D90 mm flange. The output cable section is between 2 x 10 mm² and 3 x 240 mm². The DC cable between the panel and the cell is run with this section.

Pro-Chlore Salt works with 5-12 g/l of salt, with a recommended concentration of 5-6 g/l. Nature Salt works with a low salt concentration of 1.5-3 g/l. Pro-Chlore Salt produces up to 600 g/h of chlorine, Nature Salt up to 300 g/h. In both series electrode life is 12,000-15,000 hours, and EXT-1 and EXT-2 versions are available.

The standard Pro-Chlore Salt is made for salt water pools. For pools using seawater, a separate seawater version is prepared on request. Capacity selection is based on the same chlorine demand calculation as the standard series. In the standard series the salt concentration is 5-12 g/l, with 5-6 g/l recommended.

A-50EX works with natural cooling, while A-80EX and the models above it are fan-cooled. The panel is mounted on a wall with ventilation. The DC output ranges from 9 V / 25 A to 10 V / 300 A depending on the model. The fuse type also varies by model.

The EXT-1 version adds pH and ORP measurement, the EXT-2 version pH and ppm chlorine measurement. EXT-1 measures over 0.0-9.9 pH and 0-999 mV, EXT-2 over 0.0-9.9 pH and 0.0-5.0 ppm. The pH resolution is 0.1, the ORP resolution 1 mV and the ppm resolution 0.1. If no measurement is needed, the standard model is sufficient.
