AstralPool Easy Salt Next VC, Salt Chlorinator.
AstralPool Easy Salt Next VC is a new-generation salt electrolysis system with a polypropylene cell body and an LED display. Çilek Havuz supplies Easy Salt Next VC through quotes and as part of its projects. The four models produce 75, 100, 150 and 190 g/h of chlorine. Weight is 25 or 35 kg depending on the model. Each model is offered as a standard version or as the EXT-1 version with pH/ORP regulation.

Users and applications
AstralPool Easy Salt Next VC is chosen for commercial pools whose chlorine demand falls between the Easy Salt capacity steps. The 75 and 100 g/h models suit medium-sized hotel and residential complex pools. The 150 and 190 g/h models are used in large facilities. The light body makes it easier to carry into the plant room and to place close to the wall.

Installation and compatible equipment
The polypropylene cell is connected in a vertical position to the return line after the filter. The inlet and outlet ports are on the side of the cell body. The control panel is mounted on the wall next to the cell, and the electrode cables are connected to the top cover of the cell. A separate dosing pump is added for pH correction, and the AstralPool AP PR-200 Series for multiple units. The distance between the panel and the cell is kept short.

Maintenance checkpoints
Electrode life is 10,000-12,000 hours, and when it ends only the electrode is replaced. As the cell body is polypropylene, the body does not need to be checked for corrosion. Checks focus on the connections and gasket on the top cover. The operating information on the LED display is read regularly, and the salt concentration is not allowed to fall below 5 g/l. When the facility closes for winter, the cell is drained.

- The EXT-1 sensors are adjusted with calibration solution.
- When electrode life ends, a salt electrolysis replacement electrode is fitted.

Easy Salt Next VC is offered in four capacities: 75, 100, 150 and 190 g/h. The 75 and 100 models weigh 25 kg, the 150 and 190 models 35 kg. The model is chosen by the hourly chlorine demand of the facility. For an indoor or heavily used pool, the next capacity up is preferred.

The cell body is polypropylene that withstands high pressure. The polypropylene body does not corrode even though it is in contact with salt water. The body is a vertical cylinder; the inlet and outlet ports are on the side and the electrode connections on the top cover. The cell is connected to the return line after the filter. The body design suits vertical installation in a narrow plant room.

The EXT-1 version is chosen when pH and ORP are to be monitored and adjusted from the electrolysis panel. The measuring range is 0.0-9.9 pH and 0-999 mV, and the control range is pH 7.0-7.8 and 650-850 mV. If the facility has a separate pH/ORP controller, the standard version is sufficient. In both cases, pH correction is made with a separate dosing pump.

Electrode life is 10,000-12,000 hours. The actual life depends on the daily operating hours of the unit, water hardness and salt concentration. When it ends, the cell body stays in place and only the electrode is replaced. The electrode for each capacity is listed on the salt electrolysis replacement electrode page. Before ordering, the capacity and version of the unit are noted.

Yes, several Next VC units can run together in large pools. The AstralPool AP PR-200 Series is used for shared measurement and control. The series is offered with models that measure pH/ORP or free chlorine. With the TRI kit, simultaneous control of up to 3 units is provided.

The unit operates in a salt range of 5-12 g/l, and the recommended concentration is 5-6 g/l. Electrode life is 10,000-12,000 hours. The actual amount of salt is found by multiplying the pool volume by the target concentration. The salt concentration is the same across the four capacities and the EXT-1 versions. There is no difference in salt range between Easy Salt and Easy Salt Next VC.
