AstralPool Control Connect is a Wi-Fi pool controller that measures pH, ORP or ppm chlorine together with water temperature in pool water. Çilek Havuz supplies Control Connect through quotes and as part of its projects. The unit has 4 digital inputs and 4 relay outputs; a flow sensor and temperature reading are standard. Three models are offered: pH / ORP bare panel, pH / ORP with panel and pH / PPM with panel.

Users and applications
Control Connect is chosen for pools where water quality and pool equipment are to be monitored from one unit, including from a phone. The unit measures pH together with ORP or ppm chlorine. The relay outputs put equipment such as the filtration pump, heat pump, lighting and filling on a programme. It is also used to manage salt electrolysis and pH/ORP systems.

Installation and compatible equipment
The unit is hung on the wall in the plant room at a point with Wi-Fi coverage. The pH and ORP or ppm sensors are fitted on the line after the filter or in the chamber on the panel. The flow sensor ensures that dosing takes place only while water is flowing. Equipment is connected through the relay outputs; for power lines, the Relay Box on the Relay Box and Earthing Anode page can be used.
- The measurement type and panel option are decided and the model is chosen.
- The unit is hung on the wall at a point the Wi-Fi signal reaches.
- The sensors and flow sensor are fitted on the post-filter line.
- The pump, heating and lighting are connected to the relay outputs.
- The unit is paired with the mobile app and the sensors are calibrated.
// 04 · Maintenance
Maintenance checkpoints
For measurement accuracy, the pH and ORP sensors are checked periodically with calibration solutions. On the ppm model, the electrolyte gel and membrane of the chlorine electrode are renewed. The movement of the flow sensor and the cleanliness of the sensor chamber are checked. Replacement electrodes and solutions are listed on the site on the Amperometric Electrode and Calibration Solution page.
- The pH and ORP sensors are calibrated periodically.
- On the ppm model, the gel and membrane of the chlorine electrode are renewed.
- The flow sensor and sensor chamber are cleaned.
- The reading in the app is compared with a manual water test.

On the models with panel, the unit comes ready on a mounting panel together with the sensor chamber. The bare panel is chosen for a pool whose existing line has a sensor seat, the model with panel for a plant room built from scratch.

Control Connect connects to the home network over Wi-Fi and is paired with the mobile app. The app shows pH, ORP or ppm and water temperature. The pump, heating and lighting connected to the relay outputs are also monitored and adjusted from the app. There must be a Wi-Fi signal at the point where the unit is installed.

The pH / ORP model measures disinfectant effectiveness as Redox (mV). The pH / PPM model measures the amount of free chlorine directly in ppm. In a pool where the chlorine value is to be monitored as a figure, the pH / PPM model with panel is chosen. All three models measure water temperature and include a flow sensor in the package.

Yes, Control Connect is used to manage salt electrolysis systems and pH/ORP systems. The unit measures the water and puts equipment on a programme with its 4 relay outputs. Which output the electrolysis unit is connected to is decided during installation. For the power line, the Relay Box on the Relay Box and Earthing Anode page can be used; the Relay Box is listed as compatible with Control Connect.

Control Connect is a measuring and control unit; it does not include a dosing pump. Control Connect All-In-One supplies pH and ORP glass sensors, 2 peristaltic dosing pumps of 1.5 l/h and a 4-output relay panel in a single package. All-In-One is chosen for a pool without a dosing pump, Control Connect for an existing dosing or electrolysis system.

The flow sensor (flow switch) tells the controller whether water is flowing in the line. When the filtration pump stops, dosing and chlorine output are stopped, so chemical does not build up in a stagnant line. On Control Connect, the flow sensor is included in the package and fitted on the same line as the sensors. The moving part of the sensor is cleaned periodically.

The unit has 4 inputs and 4 outputs. The warranty period is 3 years. It connects to the Fluidra Pool app over Wi-Fi. A flow sensor (flow switch) and a water temperature sensor come with the package. The number of inputs and outputs is the same on all three models; the difference is in the measured value and whether the panel comes ready.
