Energy Connect, Salt Chlorinator.
Energy Connect is a Wi-Fi-connected salt chlorinator that fits the filtration line and produces chlorine from the salt in the pool water. Çilek Havuz supplies Energy Connect through quotes and as part of its projects. Its five capacities produce 7, 12, 21, 30 and 40 g/h of chlorine and suit pools of 30 to 160 m³. There are two series, standard and upgradeable; the upgradeable series is extended with pH and ORP kits.

Users and applications
Energy Connect is chosen for private pools where the owner wants to monitor the water from a phone and add pH and ORP measurement later. The unit connects to the Fluidra Pool app via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The upgradeable series is extended with pH and ORP kits, which are sold separately. On a covered pool, Cover mode adjusts the chlorine output rate.

Installation and compatible equipment
The electrolysis cell is fitted vertically or horizontally on DN50 or DN63 pipe. As the cell cable is 2 m long, the control unit is fixed close to the cell. The unit measures 21.6 x 36.7 x 15 cm. If a pH and ORP kit is added to the upgradeable series, the sensors are also fitted in the line.

- The salt concentration of the pool water is brought to at least 3 g/l.
- The unit is added to the Fluidra Pool app via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.

Maintenance checkpoints
Cell life is 8,000 hours, and polarity reversal is set to every 2, 3, 4 or 7 hours. The salt concentration is measured and topped up before it falls below 3 g/l. The water temperature must not exceed 40 °C. The unit has a gas detector and a temperature sensor, and the operating hours of the cell are monitored against its 8,000-hour life.

+90 216 475 39 37The upgradeable series consists of Energy Connect models built to be upgraded later with pH and ORP kits. Both series have capacities of 7, 12, 21, 30 and 40 g/h. The pH kit and ORP kit are sold separately and extend the measuring scope of the unit. If chlorine production alone is sufficient, the Standard series is chosen.

The model number gives the chlorine output in g/h. Energy Connect 7 is sized for 30 m³, Energy Connect 12 for 50 m³, Energy Connect 21 for 90 m³, Energy Connect 30 for 120 m³ and Energy Connect 40 for 160 m³ pools. If the pool is close to the capacity limit, the next model up is chosen.

Power input ranges from 46 W to 219 W depending on the model. Energy Connect 7 draws 46 W, Energy Connect 12 115 W, Energy Connect 21 150 W, Energy Connect 30 173 W and Energy Connect 40 219 W. The power supply is 220-240 V, 50-60 Hz.

If a low salt concentration is wanted, Energy Connect is chosen; it operates with at least 3 g/l of salt. Clear Connect needs at least 5 g/l. The Energy Connect cell lasts 8,000 hours and covers 30-160 m³ pools; the Clear Connect cell lasts 10,000 hours and covers 30-180 m³ pools. The two units share the same electronic platform.

Cover mode is selected to adjust chlorine output while the pool is closed with a cover. Energy Connect offers three modes, Normal, Boost and Cover, and in Cover mode the output rate is adjustable. All three modes are available in both the standard and upgradeable series. The modes are selected with the touch buttons on the control unit.
