AstralPool Heliox UV LP PE, Low Pressure UV-C.
AstralPool Heliox UV LP PE is a low pressure (254 nm) UV-C disinfection system with a polyethylene body. Çilek Havuz supplies Heliox UV LP PE through quotes and as part of its projects. Its 13 models handle flow rates of 20 to 327 m³/h in fresh water at a dose of 35 mJ/cm². P20-P70 models use 90 W lamps, P95-P300 models 340 W lamps. Separate flow rates are given for seawater.

Users and applications
AstralPool Heliox UV LP PE is chosen for a wide flow range, from small private pools to large public facilities. The EX series P20, P25 and P30 suit small pools. P95-P300 models are used in large facilities with flow rates of 101 to 327 m³/h. Separate flow rates are given for seawater pools.

// 03 · Installation and compatibility
Installation and compatible equipment
The reactor is connected to the return line after the filter, and the control box is hung on the wall beside it. The model is chosen so that the pump flow rate stays below the value at the selected dose; for seawater, the seawater flow rate is the basis. Body height is 950, 1020 or 1319 mm depending on the model. Space is left above for lamp replacement.
- The target dose and water type are determined, and the matching flow rate column is selected.
- The reactor is connected to the return line after the filter.
- The control box is hung on the wall and the lamp cables are connected.
- Service space is left above the reactor for lamp replacement.
- When the lamp is running, the ON indicator light and the counter are checked.
// 04 · Maintenance
Maintenance checkpoints
Maintenance is based on the lamp counter and cleaning the quartz sleeve. The counter shows the lamp operating time and the number of on/off cycles. P20-P70 models use a 90 W UV LP-25 lamp, P95-P300 models a 340 W lamp and a 1100 mm quartz sleeve. These parts are on the Heliox Replacement Lamp/Sleeve page.
- The lamp counter is read regularly and the replacement time is planned.
- The quartz sleeve is removed and cleaned of scale and dirt.
- The ON indicator light is checked while the lamp is running.
- During lamp replacement, the quartz sleeve is inspected for cracks.

+90 216 475 39 37The model is chosen by the flow rate of the pool pump. At a dose of 35 mJ/cm² in fresh water, the flow rate is 20 m³/h on P20 EX and rises to 70 on P70 and 327 m³/h on P300. The pump flow rate must stay below this value. If a dose of 60 mJ/cm² is targeted, the flow rate of the same models falls to between 7 and 252 m³/h.

The EX series consists of the P20, P25 and P30 models; they carry 1 to 3 lamps of 90 W and are 950 mm high. The standard P35-P70 models carry 3 to 6 lamps and are 1020 mm high with a diameter of 250 mm. P30 EX and P35 have the same 270 W power; P35 handles a higher flow rate.

Yes, separate flow rates are given for seawater. At a dose of 35 mJ/cm², the seawater flow rate is lower than for fresh water: 15 on P20 EX, 53 on P70 and 198 m³/h on P300. In a seawater pool, the model is chosen by the value in the seawater flow column, and the pump flow rate must not exceed this value.

LP PE has a polyethylene body; it covers 20 to 327 m³/h in 13 models, and seawater flow rates are also given. LP S.S. has a stainless steel body; it handles 45 to 95 m³/h in 4 models. Both series use a 254 nm low pressure lamp and a lamp counter. For high flow rates and seawater, LP PE is chosen.

The P95, P140, P180, P220, P260 and P300 models use 2 to 7 lamps of 340 W. The body of these models is 1319 mm high with a diameter of 315 mm. The flow rate in fresh water is between 101 and 327 m³/h. The 340 W UV LP lamp and the 1100 mm quartz sleeve are on the Heliox Replacement Lamp/Sleeve page.

Heliox UV LP PE is fitted after the filter, on the return line. Filtered, clear water lets UV-C radiation through better. Free chlorine in the pool is provided separately by salt electrolysis or chlorine dosing. UV-C disinfects the water passing through the reactor and leaves no residual disinfectant in the pool.

Total UV-C power is 30 W on P20 EX, 90 W on P30 EX, 180 W on P70, 204 W on P95 and 714 W on P300. Power increases with the number of lamps. The total electrical power of the model is between 90 W and 2380 W. Higher UV-C power handles a higher flow rate at the same dose.
