Heliox UV LP, UV-C Disinfection Unit.
Heliox UV LP is a low pressure UV-C disinfection unit fitted on the line of residential pools, working at a wavelength of 254 nm. Çilek Havuz supplies Heliox UV LP through quotes and as part of its projects. There are two series with stainless steel and polyethylene bodies, as well as LP+ versions with pH/ORP control; in total, 16 models handle flow rates from 10 to 30 m³/h. The UV dose is 30 mJ/cm² and lamp life is 13,000 hours.

Users and applications
Heliox UV LP is a UV-C unit selected by the pump flow rate of a residential pool. The unit works at a wavelength of 254 nm; it inactivates microorganisms in the water passing through and reduces the chloramine load. The body is stainless steel or polyethylene. LP+ versions come with a built-in pH and ORP controller; the sensors are in the package, and dosing pumps are sourced separately.

Installation and compatible equipment
The unit is fitted on the line in a vertical position; its base is 27 x 27 cm and its height is between 70 and 103 cm. The model is chosen by the pool pump flow rate, and the flow must not exceed the rating of the model. On LP+ versions, the pH and ORP sensors are in the package, and dosing pumps are sourced separately.
- A model matching the pump flow rate is chosen; the flow must not exceed the rating of the model.
- The unit is fitted on the line in a vertical position.
- Space is allowed for the height of the chosen model (70-103 cm) and its 27 x 27 cm base.
- The electrical connection is made; on the LP+ version, the pH and ORP sensors are connected to the line.
- If dosing pumps are to be used, they are connected separately to the LP+ controller.

Maintenance checkpoints
Lamp life is 13,000 hours, and the lamp is replaced within this period. The water temperature must be between 2 and 40 °C. On LP+ versions, measurement accuracy is 0.1 pH and 1 mV.
- The lamp operating hours are monitored; lamp life is 13,000 hours.
- The connections and body are visually checked for water leaks.
- On the LP+ version, pH and ORP readings are monitored.
- The water temperature is kept between 2 and 40 °C.

+90 216 475 39 37Heliox UV LP is selected by the flow rate of the pool pump, and the number in the model name gives the flow rate in m³/h. The Inox series handles 10, 14, 25 and 30 m³/h, the PE series 10, 14, 20 and 25 m³/h. The pump flow rate must not exceed the rating of the model.

The LP+ version adds a built-in pH and ORP controller and sensors; dosing pumps are not included in the package. The measuring range is 0.0 - 9.9 pH and 0 - 999 mV, and accuracy is 0.1 pH and 1 mV. The standard LP model does not have this controller.

The Inox body is stainless steel; the models handle 10, 14, 25 and 30 m³/h and are 79 to 103 cm high. The PE body is polyethylene; the models handle 10, 14, 20 and 25 m³/h and are 70 to 95 cm high. The highest flow rate, 30 m³/h, is available only in the Inox series.

Heliox UV LP is designed for residential pools and handles 10 to 30 m³/h. AstralPool Heliox UV LP S.S. covers 45 to 95 m³/h and AstralPool Heliox UV LP PE 20 to 327 m³/h. All three series use a 254 nm low pressure lamp. For a pool with a high flow rate, S.S. or PE is chosen.

Lamp life is 13,000 hours. UV-C power per lamp is 13, 18, 25 and 30 W; Heliox UV LP 30 Inox carries two 25 W lamps. Total power is between 48 W and 150 W. The wavelength is 254 nm on all models.

The residential Heliox UV LP works in water between 2 and 40 °C. The unit is fitted vertically and supplied from a 220-240 V, 50-60 Hz mains. The design dose is 30 mJ/cm², and the lamp produces UV-C at a wavelength of 254 nm. The warranty period is 2 years.

Weight varies with body material and model. PE models weigh 7.9 to 11.15 kg, stainless steel Inox and LP+ SS models 11.8 to 16.5 kg. The lightest model is P10 PE, the heaviest is pH/ORP 30 LP+ SS. The base of the body measures 27 x 27 cm on all models.
