Zodiac Lyriox is a UV-C disinfection system that disinfects pool water with UV-C light and connects to the circulation line with a 50 mm fitting. Çilek Havuz supplies Lyriox UV-C System through quotes and as part of its projects. Seven models carry 2 to 15 m³/h at a dose of 30 mJ/cm². Each model has a single lamp with a lamp life of 9,000 hours. The ballast housing is integrated into the body.

Users and applications
Lyriox is chosen for pools where the water is to be disinfected with UV-C light in the circulation line. The model is determined by the flow rate of the line; the seven models range from 2 to 15 m³/h. As the ballast housing is integrated into the body, no separate ballast box is needed. The 50 mm pipe connection is the same on all seven models.

Installation and compatible equipment
Lyriox is fitted to the circulation line with a 50 mm pipe connection. All seven models use the same 50 mm connection. As the ballast housing is integrated into the body, no separate ballast box is needed. The flow rate of the line should not exceed the value of the selected model. If the flow rate falls between two models, the larger model is chosen.

Maintenance checkpoints
The main maintenance item is lamp replacement. Each model has a single lamp, and planning is based on the 9,000 hour lamp life. Operating hours are tracked before this period runs out. The pipe connections are visually checked for leaks. The section containing the ballast housing is kept dry.

The difference between the models is the flow rate the line can carry and the UV power of the lamp. Flow rate ranges from 2 to 15 m³/h; the model is chosen by the flow rate of the line, and each model has a single lamp.

Together the seven models cover a flow rate range of 2 to 15 m³/h. UV power rises as the flow rate increases; the smallest model is 15 W. The flow rate of the line should not exceed the value of the selected model. For lines above 15 m³/h, the Heliox UV LP family is considered. If the flow rate falls between two models, the larger model is chosen.

No. The ballast housing is integrated into the body and comes with the unit on every model. As a result, only the 50 mm pipe connection and the electrical connection are made during installation. The section containing the housing is kept dry during maintenance, and no space needs to be set aside for an additional ballast box.

The lamp life is 9,000 hours. Each model has a single lamp; the number of lamps does not increase from model to model, only the UV power rises. The lamp is replaced when operating hours approach this value. Life is counted in hours the lamp has run, not in calendar time, so operating hours are monitored separately.

Flow rate, dose, lamp life and connection values are the same on both. The Lyriox UV-C page lists the code and price of each of the seven models individually. The Zodiac Lyriox page presents the seven models as a single system, and the price is given on request. On both pages, the model is selected by the flow rate of the line.

The connection is 50 mm and is the same on all seven models. The unit connects directly to a 50 mm pipeline. As the connection diameter does not change from model to model, the pipe diameter does not affect model selection; only the flow rate determines it. If the pipe diameter is different, an adaptor is used and the diameter is checked before installation.

Lyriox disinfects with UV-C only; it does not produce chlorine. Neolysis Connect combines UV-C light with salt electrolysis in a single unit and produces 12, 24 or 32 g/h of chlorine. If chlorine production is also needed, Neolysis Connect is chosen; if UV-C alone is wanted, Lyriox is chosen. The two answer different needs.
