Zodiac Ei²iQ, Wi-Fi Salt Chlorinator.
Zodiac Ei²iQ is a salt chlorinator managed from a phone via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and fitted horizontally in the filter return line. Çilek Havuz supplies Ei²iQ through quotes and as part of its projects. Its 6 models produce 12, 20 and 25 g/h of chlorine for pools of 50 m³, 90 m³ and 110 m³. Standard models produce chlorine only; pH Evo models also adjust the pH value with a built-in pump.

Users and applications
Zodiac Ei²iQ is designed for villa and holiday home owners who want to monitor the pool while away from home. Chlorine output, salt concentration and cell status are shown in the Fluidra Pool app. The pH Evo model is chosen for a pool where pH moves often; for a pool where pH is held by a separate unit, the Standard model is sufficient.

Installation and compatible equipment
The cell is fitted horizontally in the return line after the filter and heater and sits on 50 or 63 mm pipe. The control unit is mounted on the wall and connected to the 220-240 V line so that it runs together with the filter pump. At first start-up, the unit is added to the home Wi-Fi network from the Fluidra Pool app.
- The pool water is salted and the concentration is brought to 4-5 g/l.
- The cell is connected horizontally to the return line.
- The control unit is mounted on the wall and the 1.5 m cell cable is connected.
- On the pH Evo model, the sensor and dosing hose are fitted in the line.
- The unit is added to the Wi-Fi network with the Fluidra Pool app.
// 04 · Maintenance
Maintenance checkpoints
Salt concentration and cell status are monitored from the app, and salt is topped up before the concentration falls below 3.5 g/l. As the Quick Fix cell has a semi-transparent body, scale on the plates can be seen without removing it. Cell life is 8,000 hours. On pH Evo models, the sensor is calibrated at the start of the season.
- The salt concentration is kept between 3.5 g/l and 10 g/l.
- The cell plates are checked for scale through the clear body.
- The pH Evo sensor is calibrated at the start of the season.
- The unit is switched off when the water falls below 15 °C.

The chlorine output percentage is set from the app, and salt concentration and cell alerts are monitored. No separate gateway is needed for Zodiac Ei²iQ. Where the home network cannot be reached, the unit connects to a nearby phone via Bluetooth.

The Standard model only produces chlorine from salt, and pH is held separately. The pH Evo model adjusts pH automatically with the 1.5 l/h dosing pump in its body and measures with an accuracy of 0.01 pH. Both series have capacities of 12, 20 and 25 g/h.

Ei²iQ 12 is chosen for pools up to 50 m³, Ei²iQ 20 for up to 90 m³ and Ei²iQ 25 for up to 110 m³. For a heavily used or sunny pool, the next capacity up is preferred. For pools above 110 m³, the Zodiac eXPERT series is considered.

Ei²iQ has app connectivity and its cell is fitted horizontally; Zodiac Ei² has no app, an LCD LED display and a vertical cell. Ei²iQ cell life is 8,000 hours and Ei² cell life is 7500 hours. Capacities are the same: both series are made for 50, 90 and 110 m³ pools.

Zodiac Ei²iQ is run only at water temperatures between 15 °C and 40 °C. In spring and autumn, when the water falls below 15 °C, the unit is switched off and chlorine is added by hand if needed. For a pool where production is wanted in colder water in winter, Zodiac eXPERT, which operates down to 5 °C, is chosen.

Quick Fix is the semi-transparent electrolysis cell of the Zodiac Ei²iQ. Thanks to the clear body, scale on the plates can be seen without removing the cell from the line. Polarity reversal is set to 2, 3, 4 or 7 hours and reduces scale build-up on the plates. Cell life is 8,000 hours.
