AstralPool AP PR-207 is an external controller that measures the pH value of pool water and the amount of free chlorine in ppm. Çilek Havuz supplies AP PR-207 through quotes and as part of its projects. It manages the salt electrolysis system according to this measurement and works with Easy Salt, Pro-Chlore Salt, Nature Salt, Neolysis and Freepool². The standard version manages a single system; the TRI kit version manages up to 3 units simultaneously.

Users and applications
Intended for hotel, sports centre and municipal pools working with a salt electrolysis system. AP PR-207 is chosen where the amount of chlorine is to be monitored directly in ppm rather than through redox. A single-pool facility takes the standard version; where there is more than one electrolysis unit in the same plant room, the TRI kit version is chosen.

Installation and compatible equipment
The unit is hung on the wall in the plant room with a metal hanging bracket. The pH and free chlorine sensors are placed on the sample water line taken after the filter. The control output is connected to the panel of the compatible salt electrolysis system, and production is switched on and off according to this measurement. During commissioning, the sensors are calibrated and the target values are entered.

Maintenance checkpoints
In a public pool, measurement accuracy depends on sensor care. The pH and free chlorine sensors are calibrated regularly and the sample line is checked for blockage. +90 216 475 39 37AstralPool AP PR-207 works with the Easy Salt, Pro-Chlore Salt, Nature Salt, Neolysis and Freepool² systems. It is the recommended controller for Freepool². The unit measures pH and the amount of free chlorine and switches the chlorine output of the electrolysis system on and off according to this measurement. The standard version manages a single system.

ORP measurement gives the redox value of the water in mV and shows the chlorine level indirectly; the value also changes with pH. Free chlorine ppm measurement gives the amount of chlorine in the water directly. As AP PR-207 measures in ppm, the chlorine level is monitored in the same unit as a manual measurement.

All three belong to the AstralPool AP PR-200 Series; the difference is in the values measured. AP PR-206 measures pH and ORP. AP PR-204 measures free chlorine ppm only. AP PR-207 measures both pH and free chlorine ppm and manages the two values from one unit.

AP PR-207 with the TRI kit provides simultaneous control of up to 3 electrolysis units in the same plant room. In facilities with more than one electrolysis unit, a separate controller is not needed for each unit. In a single-system facility, the standard version is sufficient and manages one electrolysis unit.

In a public pool, pH and chlorine are held by a controller with sensors working together with the disinfection system. AP PR-207 measures both values continuously; when chlorine drops, it increases electrolysis output. The values are also checked with a daily manual measurement. The sensors are calibrated regularly and the sample line is checked.

The manufacturer code of the standard AP PR-207 pH/Cl2 PPM is 60361. The code of the TRI kit version is 60361-KIT TRI. Both versions measure pH and free chlorine ppm; the difference is that the TRI kit version provides simultaneous control of up to 3 units. This code determines the correct version when ordering.
