AstralPool Manual Mixer is a tank mixer that stirs the solution in a polyethylene chemical tank by hand. Çilek Havuz supplies Manual Mixer through quotes and as part of its projects. The shaft is lowered through the tank lid, turned with the crank handle on top, and the blade at the bottom lifts the solution from the base. It is offered in two lengths: the 60 cm model weighs 0.58 kg and the 90 cm model 1.2 kg. Selection is made by tank depth.

Users and applications
The mixer is used in dosing tanks where a solution is prepared from powder or granular chemicals. After the chemical is added to the water, the handle is turned and the blade lifts the solution from the base. Any part of a standing solution that has settled at the bottom is also mixed again before dosing. As it needs no motor or electrical connection, it is also used in small plant rooms.

Installation and compatible equipment
The shaft is lowered through the top lid of the polyethylene tank and held at lid level by the collar. The measure for choosing the length is tank depth: the blade should come down close to the base without striking it. The 60 cm model is chosen for a shallow tank and the 90 cm model for a deep tank. With the mixer fitted, a gap is left between the pump suction union and the blade.

Maintenance checkpoints
The mixer has no motor or electrical parts; maintenance consists of cleaning and visual checks. When the type of chemical is changed, the shaft and blade are rinsed with clean water. The joint between the blade and shaft is checked for loosening or cracks. When the mixer is not in use, the tank lid is kept closed.

As a powder or granular chemical dissolves in water, part of it settles at the bottom of the tank. In an unmixed solution, the dosing pump draws concentrated liquid from the base and dilute liquid from the top. The Manual Mixer lifts the solution from the base and evens out the concentration of the liquid going to the pump. In a tank using ready-made liquid chemicals, no mixer is needed.

No, the AstralPool Manual Mixer is operated by hand. The crank handle on top of the shaft is turned and the blade at the bottom mixes the solution. No motor, cable or socket is needed. For this reason it is used in plant rooms without an electrical supply and in tanks where a solution is prepared from time to time. Mixing is done at the tank while the solution is being prepared.

The Manual Mixer is made for the AstralPool Polyethylene Chemical Tank. The tank is offered in capacities of 125, 250, 350, 500 and 1000 L. The tank stores the chemical and feeds it to the pump; the mixer only keeps the solution in the tank uniform. The two products are used together on the same dosing line.

Mixing continues until the added chemical has fully dissolved. Turning the handle stops when no visible sediment remains in the tank. A solution that has stood for a few days is also mixed again before the dosing pump runs. For time and dissolution ratio, the instructions on the chemical's own packaging are followed.
